Lincoln Nautilus vs Aviator – which one holds up better to detailing?

I’ve got a 2018 Camaro with those factory matte black hood stripes and they’ve started looking patchy and greyish despite me trying to be careful with washing. Regular wax seems to make it worse and I’ve heard you’re not supposed to use the same products on vinyl stripes as you do on paint. A guy at a car meet mentioned Chevrolet Camaro Detailing Abu Dhabi and said they use some special sealants that don’t turn the stripes white or cause peeling, but I’m a bit skeptical because I’ve been burned before by places claiming they know how to handle decals. Has anyone here had their stripes professionally protected or restored? I’m not looking to remove them, just want to stop the fading before it gets embarrassing. Also wondering if ceramic coating over the stripes is actually safe or if it causes edge lifting in this heat.
