I’ve got a 1978 Datsun 280Z that’s been sitting in my garage for way too long because every mechanic I’ve taken it to either says “we don’t work on these” or tries to fit modern parts that ruin the original feel. A friend mentioned http://www.royalprinceautocare.com/service/classic-cars-repair-restoration-in-dubai and said they specialize in older Japanese and European models, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s actually had restoration work done there before I tow my car across town. I’m not looking for a full concours show car, just someone who can get the carburetors tuned properly and maybe fix the rust around the rear wheel arches without cutting corners. Has anyone here restored a classic in Dubai and found a shop that actually cares about keeping things original?
